The USrael attempts to divert/distract all opposition to militarily suppressing threats to the Crony Capitalist status quo seem to be working quite well, for the moment, how far are the Americans willing to support/tolerate TPTB playing these war/intel games?
Not that I'm a big fan of the IRGC, quite the opposite, but without the geopolitical economic threats to the U$D/U$T would the USMIL even be fighting to protect U$ofA "national interests" in an area that's literally been criminally and/or mentally insane for at least 2 millennia?
Then again, it also creates a *major* distraction from holding foreign & *domestic* enemies to account...

The conventional lens starburst effect comes from diffraction around the aperture at narrow settings. Anonymous Conservative pointed out that this image looks [vaguely] like diffraction pattern seen in X-ray crystallography, and since this appears to be a thermal image, is comprised of long wavelengths (up to 0.1 mm) - so maybe it is some sort of cloaking device for visual. Or something else entirely.

Yesterday I was browsing a camera lens page where they boasted of the nice 8-pointed starburst effects ...
Of course, any of these images could be faked, either with hardware or digitally.
But it seems doubtful a military lens would have 8-pointed starburst effects.
